For over 30 years, Ivy Hall has welcomed couples to come and tie the knot in their historic space. The venue itself dates to before the Civil War when it was first built by Roswell King. The original mill was destroyed in the midst of the battle and later rebuilt in 1882. A century later, the mill was repurposed into an event hall, and it’s been hosting legendary celebrations ever since! With Ivy Hall, you get all the historic touches while working with a team that knows how to craft the perfect party!
Details of the Grounds
Ivy Hall is an all-inclusive venue that has been lovingly transformed to have everything you could need for your wedding. On the morning of your event, you will be shown to the private Bridal Suite, where you can get ready alongside your wedding party. Once it’s time for the ceremony, you will have several options. The most popular ceremony spot is the 25,000-square-foot deck overlooking Vickery Creek. You will be able to fit 250 guests, and you’ll have patio furniture where people can relax before and after the ceremony. If you would prefer something indoors, you can use either the Vickery Room or the Brookside Room. Both options feature rustic wooden beams and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light.
Your cocktail hour can happen either inside the building or out on the deck. The venue will work with you to create a designated space so your evening can move seamlessly from one portion to the next.
Your reception can happen in the Vickery Room or the Brookside Room. You will be able to host up to 250 guests and have plenty of space for dancing late into the night!

Ivy Hall has so many dreamy spots for your wedding portraits. The exterior of the building is pretty iconic, giving you the perfect backdrop for both group photos and couple portraits. The wooden bridge on the property tends to be a favorite spot for couples’ portraits.
