I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite spots for romantic Atlanta engagement photos, so take a look and let me know if any of these beautiful locations catches your eye!
7 Spots for Atlanta Engagement Photos That Radiate the Beauty of Your Love Story
Piedmont Park is a gorgeous park that captures the true essence of Atlanta. It has all the charm and sophistication of the south, with its vintage lamp posts, stone bridges, and a picturesque gazebo with ornate marble columns. Certain spots within the park have beautiful views of the Atlanta skyline, extra special for couples for whom Atlanta plays a key part in their love story. Hence, it’s a beautiful oasis within the city and a perfect place for beautiful photos.
The Inn at Serenbe
The Inn at Serenbe is a gorgeous resort with over 1,000 acres of preserved forest, wildflower meadows, trails with waterfalls, and a large granite outcropping. The grounds have plenty of ideal spots for intimate portraits, including swings and cozy rocking chairs, a sophisticated croquet lawn, and even an animal village! Furthermore, a wooden boardwalk through the woods is a popular spot for beautiful pictures, surrounded by trees and greenery. Part farmland, part nature preserve, and part charming boutique inn, it’s a great spot to capture this moment in your love story.
Cator Woolford Gardens
If your aesthetic is old Southern gardens, Cator Woolford Gardens is the perfect spot. With lots of greenery, stone architectural features like bridges, columns, and elegant staircases, you’ll feel like you’re wandering through a secret garden. We’ll also capture the dappled afternoon sun shining through the leaves for an extra-romantic feel to your photos that you’ll love to look at over and over again.
Prospect Farms is a beautiful spot for rustic, farm-like photos in open fields, particularly at sunset when golden light makes everything look like it’s glowing. They typically have seasonal, styled photo backdrops that we can take advantage of or explore the property to find our own magical spots for pictures. They also have seasonal crops of brightly colored zinnias, bold sunflowers, and of course, sweet pumpkins in the fall for beautiful photos.
Vickery Creek Falls at Old Roswell Mill
For couples who enjoy a little outdoor adventuring, Vickery Creek Falls is a great place for engagement photos. With beautiful covered bridges, trails, and wooded areas, it has very natural vibes and a little extra rustic elegance. The falls themselves are also absolutely majestic and create a pretty epic photo backdrop. Plus, the creek itself is a beautiful water feature to use in gorgeous outdoor photos, too!
Green Meadows Preserve
Green Meadows Preserve is another fantastic option for couples who love the outdoors. With fields of greenery and wildflowers, rustic wooden fences, and big stately trees, it’s the perfect setting for romantic pictures that truly celebrate the Atlanta wilderness. We can plan our photo shoot for the evening when the sun begins to set, and everything looks golden and romantic – or we can do it bright and early when the sun rises if you prefer!
If you’re looking for photos with a bit of extra pop of color and style, Westside Park and the Atlanta Beltline have plenty of bright murals and stunning views of the Atlanta skyline. With expansive green lawns and so many spots with fun urban architectural and design features, your engagement photos will definitely have as much personality as you and your partner!
